If the books are not returned on time, the penalty will be calculated by day/hour depending on the type of books. Students do not have to pay a fine if the fine does not exceed A $19.50 and can borrow normally. When the fine is $20 or more, the library will suspend the student’s borrowing rights until all the fines have been paid. Students are required to pay a replacement fee of AUD 22 for severely damaged returned books, for which the library will provide an invoice.
